If I have off-white carpet (not by choice), and red couches, what color should I paint my walls?

I also have a red and brown Persian rug and dark brown coffee table and end tables, and red curio cabinet and dark red entertainment center too….i like red, what would be a good wall color?

I would recommend going with neutral colors for most your walls such as whites, grays or tans. An accent wall can really help the room “pop” and make it seem like a larger space. Accent in a strong color on one wall only. Consider using a nice reddish-brown with a deep hue to pull the furniture together with the rest of the room. Good luck!

Mid to late 19th century Persian Kerman Rugs are among the more sough after antique carpets.  Often large rugs in size and design scale, these carpets are among the best in true artisan craftsmanship in Persian rug history.  Although much debate revolves around Laver/Raver Kerman and Kermanshah distinction in antique Kermans, the following is accepted to be true:

Finer antique Kermans are often termed as Kermanshah.  While the difference between Kermanshah and Kerman is several hundred miles, it is accepted that many of the carpets labeled as Kermanshah are simply distinguished by their higher knot density.  Many suggest Kermanshah and Kerman were woven in the same area: The city of Kerman.  However, all carpets headed for the West would be routed through the hub of Kermanshah en route.  This additional qualifier of shah was subsequently added to higher grade carpets to further distinguish them.

One thing is very consistent between Kerman and Kermanshah rugs.  True antique Kermans are very distinct – very nice quality and thin pile.  Distinguishing the rugs even further was the specific use of cochineal dyes.  While often used in other carpets, the specific saturation in Kerman carpets was very consistent.  Cochineal can be identified by the deep red, with purple-blue tint.  The aged patina of a Kerman carpet is quite spectacular and graceful.

One of the most distinguished commissioner of Persian Kerman Rugs, dating back 150 years ago in Persia, is the Dilmaghani Company.  Still in business today, the Dilmaghani Company is responsible for some of the finest Persian Tabriz, Sarouk and Kerman production known to the 19th and 20th centuries.  Dilmaghani Kermans pre-1920 may be recognized by Persian inscription at the top center of the carpet.  Dilmaghani Kerman carpets post-1920 may be identified with their highly ornate Cyrus Crown trademark Brand Rugs: A symbol of more than a century and a half century of excellence in the Oriental rug business.

what’s the best way to train my 2 month old chow chow?

i got a new pet. before he used to stay in the kitchen. he got tired of it and started to cry at night he moved to the living roon and dining area. now he’s starting to invade our bedrooms upstairs. he even pees and poohs on the carpet upstairs and he chooses my oriental runner which is hard to find becasue of the intricte design. i need help i dont wanna give it away since the kids loves it so much.

At 8 weeks your dog is still very much a baby.
He should be crated at night or put in the kitchen. If he whines let it go and do not go and cuddle him. It will only teach him that if he whines long enough you will come and fix the problem.
Chows are not great at training to begin with. They are independant thinking dogs who think you are there to service them and that they rule the world and you are just a servant to them.
Get a crate or put the dog back into the kitchen and work on potty training. He is not going to be potty trained until he is older and has better control of his bladder and bowels. For his safety he needs to be crated so he can not get into anything that could hurt him if he ate it.
I know it may mean a few sleepless nights but get tough and crate him now as it will be easier to train him to it at 2 months than two years.
