Is there any specific prayer rug?
do you have to have a specific prayer rug? I have one from Saudi Arabia. Would that work

No it’s not necessary but it would be better to have one , so that you can make sure you’re praying on something clean , when standing in front of your Lord s.w.t
Yes I have one , to be specific everyone in my family has one and I keep on switching .
Where your rug is manufactured in , is actually irrelevant , but you have to make sure there’s nothing living on its surface .
It should be clean and of course directioned towards the Ka’aba .
There are plenty hadith’s mentioning the importance of a clean surface while praying.
For some shi’a people I met , some of them practised praying on palm-leafs , I have been told that they honour the nature.
